Professional

Chase has a passion for helping families, couples, and individuals to overcome life’s difficulties. Chase has experience working with people of all ages and a variety of issues. His interests include couples therapy, sexual intimacy, family systems, and parenting, as well as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

During Chase’s schooling, he volunteered his time at a family support and treatment center where he played with children who had suffered trauma and/or other family dysfunctions. He also volunteered at a program for strengthening families and taught weekly lessons to help them to build a more secure and centered lifestyle.

Chase has also participated in self-improvement classes with a practice called Turning Point, where anger management, self-improvement, parenting, and life transitions were taught.  While in his graduate degree, Chase spent over a year at the Center on Family Living working with individuals, couples, and families to overcome their difficulties, struggles, anxieties, trauma, and depressions which they experienced as individuals and/or as a family.

Academic

Chase attended Utah Valley University to pursue his undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science: Family Studies. There he discovered and developed his passion for treating family systems. Chase went on to earn a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. While in his graduate program, Chase obtained a Level 2 Gottman Certification which empowers him in working with couples and relationships.

Personal

Chase was born and raised in Orem, Utah where he had a secure and loving home which had its share of family adversities. He was a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tampa, Florida where he served the people for two years.  It was on this mission that Chase discovered the joy of helping families to strengthen their relationships with each other.

Chase is passionately in love with his amazing wife. She is his biggest advocate. They have 2 beautiful boys that keep them busy and continuously teach them how to be better parents, how to enjoy life, and remind them to not take the simple things for granted. In his free time, Chase enjoys spending time with his wife and children, watching movies and sports, and being active.
